2 a.m. : Parallel Worlds

Second episode for the 2 A.M. Fabulous. This time they captured me right away. Surprising me. Once again. Demonstrating the talent and professionalism that characterize them. The sound hasn't changed much; rather, it's become more refined, sounding much more personal compared to their first album.

A year later, the artistic maturity and commitment that surely defined their journey are evident. While it plays in my headphones, I feel completely involved in the deepest intimacy of their music, managing to grasp the genuine emotion and passion they have put into conceiving it. The length of the album seems perfect to me. Long enough to satisfy, but not too much to bore, always leaving that desire to listen to them again. Especially live.

The track that impressed me the most is number 3, "Live from Parallel Words." Ethereal, it flows by, carrying me like a long flight over the world. And from here, after the opening track "The Outsider" and the refined pop of "Axl's Song" - which also gave birth to a video - begins the highest point of the album. The next track "The Untold Words," decisive and rocking, is supported by vocals that perfectly blend with the rest. Engaging from start to finish without ever losing tone. It moves through "Just for One Day," which conveys peace and sweetness to me, reaching the epilogue of the album "The magic can't work." I've always had a soft spot for the last track of an album in general. It's as if it contains to the highest degree what the artist wants to convey to those listening to the album. In this case, I am faced with a direct piece, executed with passion. And it ends with a very sweet music box. Precious.

Long live 2 AM. I'm very glad I wasn't wrong. Now I confidently await their professional breakthrough. Finger Cossed & Rock'n'Roll Heart.
