I originally had it on vinyl from my parents, so bought in 1985, and I sold it in 2022 to make some money to buy other artists. Remarkable record, but Claudio is not among my favorites. I can handle it only in single tracks.
I agree with the title "Life is Now." In fact, that's precisely why I think it's not worth wasting the little time we have listening to rubbish comparable to a cup of chamomile sipped on a winter evening. It's better to spend a sleepless night listening to good, honest rock!
Ah, dear gmasi1971, your bravery in reviewing this record is admirable, especially knowing that names like Baglioni can provoke strong reactions. But I’m reviewing your review and I wonder: are you talking about "utendi" and "miioni"? Is this perhaps a new jargon to refer to Debaser fans? Jokes aside, there are errors that can’t be ignored. You are right on one point though: touching a masterpiece like the original 1985 album is like trying to improve the Mona Lisa with an extra brushstroke. I agree with Confaloni: there really isn’t time for musical chamomiles when rock is calling! chiedo:
I much prefer the previous one, "Strada facendo," to this (I'm obviously talking about the originals). And I don't like this "trend" of reissuing albums to celebrate their 30th, 40th, or 50th anniversary, but it seems to be a virus that has infected almost everyone. It's much better to leave things as they are. I won't rate the "remade" album, but I wouldn't have given the original more than three stars, compared to the four-and-a-half to five stars of "Strada facendo." However, a review shouldn’t be based on one’s own musical tastes, so I’ll stick with the rating.
I respect the artist and the man. I agree with the assessment of the original album. And with the fact that there was no need for this reissue. Otherwise, rather convoluted review.
