Great review. I saw them live in 1999 in Biella supporting Immortal, and I liked them. Just think that at that now "famous" gig the lineup was: Immortal (headliners), Benediction, God Dethroned, Necrodeath, In Aeternum, Hades Almighty(!), Ritual Carnage... Immortal were extraordinary. The tour was for "At the Heart of Winter." What times, man, what times... Anyway, today in Finland it’s 30, I’m saying 30 degrees and it’s scorching hot. You vittu!
Although the inept mononeuron prefers, dear Monsieur Tepes, decidedly "Transcend The Rubycon" or the even more successful and recent "Grind Bastard," I appreciate your enjoyable and fitting death/eloquence. Crushing/metallic regards in abundance. Your s.c. of (s)confidence.
A precise and straightforward review as always, a beautiful album that perhaps suffers a bit from Barney’s departure to join Napalm. I prefer the last EP they made before breaking up. Uhm, I’m listening to the new album by Crimson Massacre and I must say it’s really good. Maybe a bit of technique for its own sake and some rather unnecessary screaming, but other than that, they really kick ass.
Mrs. Tepes? She died a long time ago...throwing herself from the tower of a castle...joking aside, thanks to everyone, ANIEL, OCRAM, ETC. SFASCIA transcend the rubicon is another beautiful album, in my opinion on par with this one. Has any of you ever heard "the dreams u drear?" In my opinion, it is much inferior to the first two. FJELTRONEN, nowadays you can at most see 5 fucking grind mosh bands...times have changed, bands of that caliber come at a high price (generally speaking). CRONOS, I haven't listened to Crimson Massacre properly, but they didn't seem bad to me...
