The Kitchen Tape is a home recording from 1992 featuring tracks like Say It Ain't So, Undone, and My Name Is Jonas, Alternative / Lofi snapshots that we will never hear again, buried under the polish of a Major label transition.
The World Has Turned And Left Me Here undergoes the same fate and in this demo it stands out. It becomes almost slowcore, acidic just right, shouted and ungraceful, a Pixies song torn apart and stretched out, with a Dinosaur Jr-like solo and sung in F.Black style; all lost and embedded in time, fixed on this cassette resurrected with the internet.
