THE REVIEW

Last work for the band of Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar), the two souls of the group.

The CD, released in '94 (since then it has been lost except for the soundtrack of the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds"), presents itself well. A good dose of rock that deviates significantly from the band's beginnings, which were all dedicated to electronics.

The songs follow one another with a thrilling rhythm: transitioning from the energy of "Coming Down", "Black Sun", "Emperor's New York" to the ballads "Stereo Life", "Saints Are Down" (fantastic) interspersed with the more commercial "Naturally High" and "Be Free".

The very distinctive voice of Ian, mixed with Billy's guitar, makes the sound very pleasant and easy to listen to, but almost never banal.
