Excuse my excessive presence, but I'm in a plaster cast bed. I tried to emulate Valentino Rossi, but the prohibited substances while driving and otherwise got the upper hand.
Even having a beautiful girl in bed, I wouldn't be able to do much. Moral of the story: bear with my clumsy musical comments.
Strange character Paul Roland who back in 1986 recorded "A Cabinet of Curiosities". At least I think he was very undecided on the path to follow with his art.
Musician, writer, I suppose a great admirer of 19th-century Gothic, I believe he was enamored with various esoteric arts. Never heard from him again after some, in my opinion, subpar records.
Perhaps he decided that his path, which certainly does not cross with mine.
He wrote short Gothic tales and set them to moderately psychedelic neo-folk music, with great results. Songs that lived their own lives even without the musical support. I don't mention individual songs because, like a yokel, I only look at the track number on albums, understanding little to no English.
What happened to him? Another great one, as far as I know, disappeared.
And anyway, if a pretty brunette appeared in my bed, even all in a cast, I'd be able to manage something. I'd be stuck for another month... but flesh is still flesh.
