Another album by Fausto.
Well yes, I am a fervent admirer.
This LP doesn't exist in CD version; it was released back in 1982 (printed in 1982 distributed in late winter 1983) by Ricordi records. (edit) reissued by On Record Japan in 2015.
It was a surprise; just a few months after the release of Out Now, an entirely instrumental album full of cut tapes and attempts at concrete music, our Fausto returned with a sung album.

1 Ogni fuoco: A light new wave with an almost esoteric text...

-blue lights on the streets...-

2 Ch'an Cha Cha: Latin rhythms, a chorus in Spanish, almost a hit. Memorable appearance at Azzurro '83 crushed by whistles. Incompetent!

3 E poi non voltarti mai:

-In dark streets how many fires will you see listen to life deep in your heart, don't force it there is too much time for us you will see.-

Is this quote not enough for you?

4 Stracci alle fiamme: Again new wave, a carpet of electronic percussion supports our strangled voice, an incredibly sweet piano appears hidden here and there, as if wanting to pull its head out from the electronic carpet.

5 Cinque strade: This rarely beautiful song was also covered by Massimo Volume. In this song, you can glimpse a man who is no longer sure of what he is doing. Feeling out of place everywhere.

-This voice on a record that spins and spins and isn't even mine, these branches that grow without a god.-

6 Geraldine: The most rock track, lacerating guitars, a slightly subdued drum and a new scratched love.

-Geraldine you cried again, cuts again cuts in your heart-

7 We Turn Away: Almost a Battiato for some, but it's just a pop song that mocks pop part makes a loop and returns to the beginning, just pop.

8 Alien: Sublime a torn tango but it was the only possible solution.

-Alien is a chance-

9 Rip van Winkle: It starts with a choir from the sutra: Maka Hannya Haramita Shingyo.

Van Winkle who was he? A character in a children's story. During the album's recording, Fausto had a discussion with the saxophonist Amedeo Bianchi, perhaps that's why at the end of the track he sings "Those heavy metals just dragging their feet the saxophonist swallowing"

10 Ultimi fuochi: It echoes the atmospheres of the opening track, again drum machine and piano, new wave and tradition until the conclusion with traffic noises, gentle footsteps delicately closing everything and starting over.

Doors slamming in the evening fog and it's night. Even now.
