Nickelback

A great debut album, a decent second album, then the success of "Silver Side Up" with the loss of direction, and then so, so much money. Now a pop/rock band of decent level, but the first two albums "Curb" and "The State" are worth listening to, the only ones that smell like grunge.

Staind

After the extreme and complex debut "Tormented," from 1999 to 2003 two great albums (Dysfunction and Break The Cycle) and a good 14 Shades Of Grey, then the repetitiveness of Chapter V and the pop/rock of The Illusion Of Progress. After 15 years, returning with the self-titled Staind is symptomatic of quality and seriousness.
