Great singer of the early Black Sabbath (even though technically imperfect, especially live) is still nostalgically praised by many long-time fans and has produced a handful of excellent solo albums. Famous for having bitten a bat, he has fried his brain on alcohol and drugs. It's a shame he lost the little credibility he still had with the reality show "The Osbournes." Today, he is a shadow of his former self.

A great artist who has managed to create a completely unique image, filled with fake horrors during live shows such as decapitations, embalming, snakes, spiders, and scorpions. All of this is complemented by excellent albums, each more beautiful than the last, characterized by a very effective and powerful hard rock.

Proponents of good American-style hard rock during its golden years, superbly reborn after the mid-'80s, unfortunately now inevitably lost in ballads. Still very good, though.

Martin Barre has been the faithful guitar sidekick of Jethro Tull for 40 years now, one of the many underrated artists in the history of rock. His technical skills are excellent, but undoubtedly his solo career is marked by songwriting that is not always up to par. His strongest pieces are the instrumentals. Among his many merits, he wrote one of the most beautiful solos in history with Aqualung.

The absolute genius made flesh: a super multi-instrumentalist (flute, guitars, mandolin, bouzouki, pipes, percussion, keyboards... etc.) endowed at the time with one of the most beautiful voices in the world, in addition to great talent as a composer, arranger, performer, and producer. A great personality on stage, a great point, period.

Take a revolutionary way of playing the flute from a charismatic leader, who, in addition to being a true poet in his lyrics, has a wonderful voice and writes almost all the pieces; add to that a compositional originality that ranks among the few, an excellent loyal and long-standing guitarist, who has witnessed the succession of formations under the banner of top-notch musicians: this is the prototype of the perfect band, and it's called Jethro Tull.
