Great drummer with Yes, terrible as a solo artist.

Band that has produced excellent hard rock, at its best with the great Michael Schenker!

Often referred to simply as the Dutch Jethro Tull for their use of the flute, Focus have actually produced original prog by blending classical music, rock, and jazz. The first three albums are essential. Thrilling is the great virtuoso Jan Akkerman on guitars, as is the immense talent of leader Thijs van Leer: composer, singer, flautist, and keyboardist.

The best progressive triangular formation typically consists of keyboards/bass/drums, alongside Emerson, Lake & Palmer. They are merely a more underground version, but equally valuable, at least regarding their first album.

A huge moment of Yessian inspiration, ABWH were born as the antithesis of the "official" Yes who had relocated to America, the so-called "Yes West" consisting of Squire, Rabin, White, Kaye, and Anderson himself, who, as a good mercenary, joined the former members of Yes for a great studio album and a solid live performance. From here, the "Union" of Yes will emerge: then, as a good mercenary, Anderson will reunite Wakeman, Bruford, and Howe, returning with Yes West. It's amusing that at first, they wanted to call themselves "NO."

How much the Lake District has managed to produce musically: Davide is a great poet, able to exalt even the simplest things with his words, as well as the serene beauty of Lake Como. Perhaps in terms of songwriting he has somewhat stalled lately, but his mix of acoustic, country, folk, and that little touch of reggae is unmistakable.

It's the first and perhaps the best solo project of the great German guitarist, who had already made a mark with Ufo. Schenker possesses an exceptional guitar touch, filled with virtuosity and refinement in the slow pieces, in addition to being a songwriter. He has always been one of my favorite guitar heroes.

Obsessive and original in his singing; hypnotic, charismatic, and flamboyant on stage. Fish has done great things with Marillion and a handful of excellent solo albums: a phenomenal character.
