You've convinced me! I'll listen..

I bought the album and listened to it too little to really understand it. The first listen doesn't seem bad at all to me; we should stop burying them just to avoid being too original. Let's not forget that rock is doing so poorly that before these four guys showed up, the youngest who could make it onto the charts and into the important circles were the... Foo Fighters... Who are 50 years old on average. We should think about these things more often.

I didn't have many doubts that the I Dragons aren't bad live, but it's too much commercial fluff; they've sold out like few others in recent years.

Okay, it's worth listening to. I had lost it in the maze of some solo albums scattered here and there.

The initial idea of suggesting his interviews didn't excite me much, but I understood that you really like Oasis and I can't blame you - just look at your nickname! I tried to listen to the album just yesterday, got through half of it, and it seems well-made. The point is: it seems well-made, damn it, but how much of it is really his? I know Liam's compositions and part of me connects with them, while part of me doesn't at all. They followed him well, and you confirm this in your review where I read that it took them quite a while to put this album together. He did well, he knows he's never been a great composer and had the humility to get support. Meanwhile, Noel has released the third one which I've heard a preview of and it left me puzzled.. It could be the first time that Liam Gallagher truly does something musically better than his brother and, perhaps, that's the way it should be. Soon I'll let you know what I think of the album!

Here, I was looking for something about them! They really seem worthy of attention; for me, they should be listened to in doses and in the right circumstances. Great discovery.
