"What is the point of being a band made up of guitar, bass, and drums if you play half of the tracks from an album? What sense does it make to continue releasing music that cannot convey such an intimate and personal compositional approach in a live setting? How far is it acceptable to entrust entire tracks to the synth and EDM standards?" A thorough review, perhaps even too much for what seems to be the caliber of the album, of which I have only heard the main single that pleasantly surprised me. I will try to listen to it in its entirety. Very good!

I'm almost in agreement on everything! I also had the impression that Quick Escape was very adaptable to Cornell's voice from Audioslave. As for the rest, I really like 7 o'clock and it has the extremes to draw out even more emotion, both live and if released as a single. Dance Of made me hope for some sort of contained shift towards electronic experimentation: that didn’t happen; perhaps there’s only another track, I think the same 7 o'clock, where something similar is attempted. The closures are indeed (likely) remnants of Vedder wandering lost in the woods. My rating is in the middle between 3/4, also because I want to give the album another full listen.
(On the subject of grunge triumphantly dead and rock that is dead, you’re opening a door that’s already wide open.)

Written in nerves! You could have listened to Roger Waters' sermon on Israel, but it seems it was discarded at the last minute (perhaps because they knew that part of the competitors and the audience believe that Israel is just the name of a dog).
