Cradle Of Filth Damnation And A day

well... the world is beautiful because it's flawed... one of the many (too many) useless groups that infest the world of music (oh god, music...)

...and just to start, I had a colleague burn me Rain Dogs....
p.s. I quickly listened to something from the latest at Feltrinelli... but how beautiful is song #2?
Manowar Kings Of Metal

the most useless, stupid, and ignorant group in the entire history of rock. In the pit, all four of them (even though Demayo remains a great bassist..). I also vote for the group, which deserves it, with a nice round 0 (ZERO).

Let's be clear: living new york sucks. If I have to judge by the single, then this album is terrible (with a capital T). It's sad to say, but they have become - and not just with this album - a sad parody of themselves. At these (negative) levels, quitting is a moral obligation.

um... ;-)
thanks anyway. In the meantime, I'll take a look at fandangomusicshop.net and see what I can find and at what prices. I'll let you know.

Ah, I usually don't rate reviews, but this one deserves it..

Hal, hasn’t it been 5 years yet...?
But above all: looking for tips on what to buy from TW (real gone aside)... because I admit I've been following him, with interest and exponential admiration only for a couple of years, and I only have Mule Variations and a collection titled Used Songs. Rain Dogs? Swordfish..etc.? Bone Machine? Any suggestions are welcome...

The only certain thing is that I am in group A...

the first album (or was it the first love?) is never forgotten... the review is good too.

let's talk about this album and put aside sterile comparisons with bands that have little to do with DT, please. As far as I'm concerned, it's a decent album but certainly not exceptional, that sits more or less in the middle of their discography (I&W and SFAM are the top, while SDOIT and the unlistenable TOT are definitely the bottom, imho). Ups and downs, in short, with the usual and annoying vocal performance of the shoddy LaBrie. I agree with you, perhaps the most balanced rating would be a 3.5. However, having to choose in the absence of half-points, and having given a 4 to albums far more deserving than this one, I give it a 3. :-)
