Sorry, but no one pointed a gun at you forcing you to write the review. If you did it when you were in a bad mood, just to throw mud and feel important, then you really have serious issues, girl, get yourself checked out (by a good one). I have the CD in question (and also some tracks from the previous album), and it doesn’t seem bad at all to me. Of course, there are rock music stars that can never be reached, but even labeling them as a “teen band” seems exaggerated. At least they have their own style and sound.
As for the whole commercial thing, well, who isn’t or doesn’t become commercial? They are just starting out, and right now, they can afford to be commercial to attract attention. Sure, if they sink into the most idiotic pop (see Lavagna, Lasagna, or whatever its name is), then there’s reason to worry, but for now, it doesn’t seem to be that way. I don’t understand all the horror over this album; I honestly have listened to worse.
