Stanley Kubrick The Shining
Voto:
"The Shining" is my favorite book by Stephen King (also because it was one of the first; it has really aged a lot since then). Anyone who loves Kubrick's film should read it. When I saw "Shining" for the first time, I was very young, and it scared me to death. Even now, there are scenes that distress me greatly. First and foremost, the one where there are two men, one dressed as a dog, leaning out from the door of a room toward the end of the film. A scene that went unnoticed by most viewers, but for me, it is one of the most disturbing in the history of cinema.

The movie is quite intriguing; it invites you to watch it again just like Lynch's latest films (although Lynch is more refined with the plot and more beautiful). It's definitely not a film that you forget once you've seen it. I have really good memories of it. I liked the idea of tattooing post-its.
Does anyone know if the editor has left the clinic? :D

I haven't had the pleasure of listening to this gem, but just reading the lyrics gives me chills. Surely it's not on the same level as the song lyrics "E Chi Se Ne Frega" by Marco Masini, which covers "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica in his own way. I recommend it to fans of trash pieces; you'll thank me later.

Norfolkian alas being sleepless I try everything to fall asleep, so "The Cinematographer" is a must for me (a tragic and bitter must, it’s true...). Ferrara Dell'Olio's wife did not despise the film, while old "mummietta" Rondi deeply hated Inland Empire and said he was disgusted by the Lifetime Achievement Award given to Lynch, of whom he only appreciated "The Straight Story." From this comment arose the question from the gagarone Marzullo mentioned above.
Galakordi forgive me for ruining the next 3 months of your life, I didn't mean to involve you in my masochism but above all I thought I was the only one in Italy and the world to know about this show (the only one about cinema in Italy... and that says a lot...).

Good job, great review. The world is divided into 2: those who understand and adore Lynch’s films and those who don’t.
"But ultimately... is Fausto Brizzi better or David Lynch?" Marzullo from the show "Il cinematografo" three weeks ago... I’ll let you guess the answer given by the "critics"... sigh...

Tepes, was it you behind the wheel of that gray Punto making shuttles between Lucca and Pisa on New Year's morning with a black goat in the trunk? I've always wondered who could possibly do something like that. Now I have my answer. I admire you.

"Looking at the cover, I notice that there's a completely rotten and stitched-up guy on it: I think it must be a really good record because usually on the covers of ugly ones there aren't rotten and stitched-up guys."
The boy has talent. Brutally genius.
