Memories Of A Lost Soul 7 Steps To Nothingness

Defamatory work? Guys, if I read that this group is the most renowned internationally, that it's on the verge of a European tour, that it has an album that, in terms of production, is superior to all the albums ever released in Calabria and Southern Italy, that it is the greatest band to have ever existed in Calabria, etc., etc., etc., it is essential to dot the "i's" and clarify how things really stand; I am not denigrating, but knowing well how things are, being aware of various internal matters within the group and knowing what people actually say about Buzzy and his associates (just take a stroll through the forums), I am saying that the Memories are not what they themselves love to make people believe, they are simply a group like many others that has been active in the underground for years and has done nothing more than many other groups that, unlike them, do not like to show off, while still being at the same level... if not superior, but these are points of view... then, if the truth hurts Buzzy and his associates, that's another story; anyway, your IP numbers are always the same in the comments you post, changing the nickname isn't enough!

Buzzy ... do you still think that in Catanzaro people think only and always about you? I’ve told you a thousand times that they don’t care about you and the Memories, don’t you see they don’t even consider you and are thinking about other things? I’m sorry for you, but I’m from Reggio and I know what I’m talking about because I know all of you well ... in Reggio, we’ve been fed up for months with the story of the tour, etc., if no one is saying anything to you, it’s because we know who you are ...

Buzz, also known as the singer of Memories, I repeat, just go read on various sites (Deadsunrec and company) and in many forums to prove what I'm saying... insults are useless, respond with facts if you have the ability.

Morlock, I'm not surprised by your words; coincidentally, you're the bassist of the Memories, a direct interested party... why didn't you mention this? The Memories, the best band in Calabria and Italy? But if you've never left Calabria or Sicily... oh right, I hear you strummed a few notes in Salerno too, the kids there still remember it... but do you listen to anything else during the day besides the band you play in? It doesn't take much to realize that in Calabria (not to mention Italy) there are bands that would overshadow your Memories in terms of popularity and skill. Just think about the concert they organized on December 29 in Catanzaro, where your Memories weren't even invited to avoid a flop; another thing, many bands have contracts with Dead Sun Records or have been contacted by this label; you're not the only ones in the world, and everyone knows very well what kind of contracts this fantastic label offers. Not to mention that despite you saying you're distributed, Dead Sun does not provide distribution services at all (they state it clearly on their site), so evidently you are also paying just to have the CD placed somewhere. There's no need to make excuses, guys; a little more humility wouldn't hurt.

Sorry, I’m Tat0, the bassist of the band in question, Zora. I was made aware of this discussion and here I am to clarify a couple of things; noting that this will be the only intervention I make because I’m not in the habit of arguing with people online and because, honestly, it would bore me as well. I would like to clarify, first and foremost, that mithrandir's words are not new to me; they are exactly the same as the ones he uses when he tries to attack us in our guestbook and in forums across the web, changing his nickname each time. This is proven by the fact that he is commenting on all the reviews concerning us, aggressively insulting for no reason… Anyway, in my opinion, this is his point of view, and as such, I will try to respect it, even if our friend has been spreading quite a few false or fabricated stories, like the one regarding the label we signed with. But I won’t go into that; if you’re interested, you can find everything on our website. Another clarification concerns the way and the place where we recorded. I’m sorry to tell you, but maybe you’ve confused us with some other group; we do our work in the studio and we have no problem performing live. By the way, we have never played with the MOALS… That said, I would like to tell everyone that I am ready to send anyone who wants a copy of our CD so that you can listen and judge for yourselves. If you don’t want to provide addresses and such, I invite you to our blog www.myspace.com/zoraxperiment where you can listen to all the tracks you want; they are mp3s but sound good nonetheless. If you have any other questions or need clarifications, you can write to zoraexperiment@yahoo.it; I don't want to make further posts here; it seems a bit childish. Thank you for your attention.

I help you, a free subscription means that if you give me your home address I will send you the zine every time it is published without you having to spend a dime, we are just starting and we are trying to promote this initiative; as for the asterisk it means "kisses", or simply "hi"; a portal is not necessarily something that can be found online, I'm sorry but I catch you unprepared *

A curiosity Mithrandir, but how can you be so sure about Aniel? It seemed to me that I understood you don't know each other... it must be... your mistake is that every time you post here and there on the internet, you don't bother to change topics or ways of doing things; you are always recognizable... one last thing, I fully agree with what Giovanna says when she claims that the underground is ruined precisely by people like you. You haven't given your perspective in this pseudo-review; you've unloaded on a group that I respect and that apparently a lot of people follow because it is made up of simple and unpretentious people... and again, let me repeat, listen to them and then let me know...

I'm not going to comment on the review because it seems clear that it's an attack on the group by someone who feels resentment towards them... I've read a lot about the Zora around the web and also in print magazines, and I must say this is the first time I've heard anything negative about them. Moreover, I own the CD in question, and it certainly doesn't seem like a low-quality product; on the contrary... this is what ruins the underground you speak of, dear mithrandir, envy... anyone who would like to have a review of their group on my portal can write to me at missgiovanna@libero.it; thank you*

Hey Mithrandir, is there really nothing going on with the Zora? You keep repeating the same things even in the pseudo-review you wrote about this album. We know who you are, don’t take it the wrong way if this group has achieved in three years what you’ve only dreamed of in ten.
