Sure. And also try Raventhrone (symphonic/ambient black-death, very epic) and Samael, who have nothing to do with it but their industrial is pretty good.

Why didn't I mention Bathory... Because they're not among my favorite bands... They've definitely laid the groundwork, but I prefer other groups. Certainly, some of their works are exceptional, and even the more recent "Nordland" doesn't bother me. If I understood correctly, you'll surely like Folkearth, who are both (relatively) soft and evocative. They do a strange kind of viking metal, very infused with folk and with very few extreme sounds. You might also like the latest Manegarm's "Vargstenen." And Korpiklaani, as well. Give them a listen; they’re like Oktoberfest put to music. Sound beer in rivers. And besides, don’t worry, you’re not bothering me; you’re actually giving me something to do on this boring Sunday.

Mmmmh I don’t know them well unfortunately... From what little I’ve listened to, that is "Panzer Division Marduk", I don’t dislike them, but it's not the kind of black I prefer.

Mr. Juggler, I’ll tell you: black metal is a genre as interesting and exceptional as it is varied. Let me mention some bands that I particularly appreciate, along with a few titles.
You absolutely must listen to Burzum; as I have been saying for some time, he IS black metal. Check out "Det Som Engang Var." Then there are Mayhem, perhaps with "De Mysteriis D.O.M. Sathanas." You could also give Darkthrone a try, though I’m not particularly fond of them. Isengard is better. Listen to Isengard, especially "Hostmorke." You must absolutely check out the symphonic black metal of the early Dimmu Borgir, especially "Stormblast." Speaking of Fenriz's projects, check out Storm, which has very little black metal in it, however. Listen to Windir, Elite, Forest of Fog, and definitely "Bergtatt," "Kveldssanger," and "Nattens Madrigal" by Ulver. Try the melodic Catamenia, and why not also Satyricon, perhaps starting with the more accessible newer Satyricon, the ones from "Now Diabolical." And listen to viking metal, which is equally beautiful. Falkenbach, Manegarm, Folkearth, Lumsk, Eluveitie, and Aes Dana (which, however, falls into the more particular and so-called Celtic Black).

Look, I don’t know, I haven’t read it thoroughly, I caught a couple of mistakes but basically you write well. I’m giving you a 5 because life is smiling at me today, maybe I’ll share more of my impressions later. I have the album, and I must say you’ve captured the essence pretty well, yes. "Vinterskugge" is beautiful and also "In the halls" etc. etc... There, I think you gave a strange description but of course feelings are subjective. I would define it as fairy-tale-like and glacial.

Argh. But isn't it a bit like if Pippi Longstocking started doing brutal death metal together with Dora the Explorer?

Here's a random 5, I'm feeling cheerful. Nice disco, yes I confirm, it's not my genre but I appreciate it.

Azatoth is right. Azatoth is always right, because he gurgles and curses at the center of the Universe. We are all a bit like gurgling Azatoths.
