Great review. I am very, very happy. Because I was one of those who got angry hearing the talks about Capossela-humble-adept. I would get mad and scream, "damn it, he's not even forty, do you have any idea how many paths he can still take, this guy?!?". It's the happiness of the good old "I told you so." He’s forty now. A little more. He has matured in a rush, a surge. He took from Conte, he's taken from Waits, he’s cutting the last ties with Tommasino. The influences of this last album are all Italian or Eastern. He is carving his own path. And he has already produced a masterpiece. A true, difficult masterpiece. Which isn’t so difficult after a while: before long, you’ll find yourself humming "brucia troia" as if it were sung by Pausini. Tonight I will see him live in Florence. I’m excited like I haven’t been in a long time while waiting for a concert. A masterpiece of an album, I said. With plenty of time to gift us many more. And with the hope that the accusations from the Waits fans become ever more fragile, shattering completely.

A rather anonymous review, dear Pluto. The disc isn't bad at all but risks drowning in the vast horizon of self-production. The voice needs more care. "Milano" is very beautiful.

Dear Mr. Carrozze, while I appreciate the attempt at a lofty and somewhat outdated writing style, I would like to offer a small criticism: an "expressive mark" in the first instance is a mistake; in the fourth, it is style (true), but by the tenth, it becomes a quirk (ouch), and quirks are more annoying than not. If you visit www.spietati.it, you will find (not de)reviewers who use zillions of parentheses like you do, and the effect is often more unpleasant than amusing. It's nice to play with punctuation marks, but if you moderated the little games a bit more, reserving them for strategic points, they wouldn't tire anyone out and would be much more appreciated as well. Often, skill lies precisely in moderation (not to mention that there are many other punctuation marks that could also become co-fetishes of your writing). Beautiful review and visceral album. Blues and industrial mixed with tobacco and alcohol. And yes, Bruno Dorella always deserves to be followed.
