Modest Mouse We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
Voto:
Here I remember why I got tired of debaser. Futile discussions about who copied from whom, prejudices, squabbles among know-it-alls, all while breathing an air that's halfway between scholarly and obsessed. PS: it seems to me that Modest Mouse now resemble the Pixies very little, even if we play along, and I have a feeling they'll hit it big pretty soon. Provided Marr stays in the band, the subtle schizophrenia of Brock and Marr's elegance could create a full reaction (in this album, Marr is just a luxury arranger).

Filming the video was an incredible experience... The song isn't their best, but I've grown extremely fond of it... On my blog, I described as best as I could the overwhelming feelings and emotions I experienced... Stop by, if you want...
Sodastream Reservations

Interesting problem, especially because it highlights how the difference between "commercial" music and non-commercial music is very subtle and often pedantic. Otherwise, the Sodastream were excellent, and I had the fortune of seeing them in a very intimate club for a truly moving and lyrical concert. Go see them if you can.

So, in Petrushka the choreography was not by Nijinski even though he was the one dancing. Anyway, I'm reading "Chronicles of My Life," which is a sort of autobiography, and I have to start "Compagno Strawinsky," which is an essay by... hm, I don't remember...

I am studying Stravinsky a bit for a pseudo-novel I am creating. Great review, very knowledgeable. It should be noted that the world premiere of the Sacre featured Nijinsky's choreography in his first experience as a choreographer, deemed obscene by many and rather ugly by Stravinsky himself. The scandal surrounding the Sacre was partly born from this. Oh, by the way, if anyone is interested, the URL of the pseudo-novel is infrantumi - Articoli e post su infrantumi trovati nei migliori blog

I happened to chat with them for an entire evening. The first CD hadn’t been released yet, and they were the unknown openers for moltheni. After the mini-concert, I rushed over to them, completely ignoring moltheni (poor guy). It was a lovely evening talking about many things. They even gave me the master of the future CD. I practically got it in advance! ^^

Interesting cross-sectional review. My esteem for this group is very high and remains so because they have carved out a very personal niche in the rather uniform Italian landscape, or even in the global one. Halfway between punk, role-playing, and theater, as demonstrated by their latest intriguing project, the sound diary on Pasolini. They continue to be underrated because they are listened to like any other punk band. Instead, one must make an extra effort and research how their microcosm is born and grows: the masks, the image, the absolute teenager, the comics. It’s much more complicated and interesting than that. I would love to write a more in-depth exploration, or something along those lines.

I don't have this demo, but I've loved dEUS for a long time. I want to see them at Flog on May 3rd, that's it. :\
