I remember the film as fun and full of clichés.
For a light hour and a half or for spinning, it works perfectly.
Of course, there’s no hidden or implied meaning, but that’s certainly not the goal of a film like this.
The review entertained me, though less than the film did.
Comparing it to Lynch is senseless and pointless, by the way.

They were my favorite band for a while (I often change my favorite band). The latest albums, this one included, left me indifferent (actually, no, I really didn't like Heritage). It’s probably just me getting lazy as I age. Let me be clear, I believe that Opeth have an exceptional sense of melody and a deep-rooted good taste, but it's (always?) reasonable to expect more from them.
