Zerocalcare Strappare lungo i bordi
Voto:
I didn't want to see it. I tried to avoid it, but in the end, I watched all the episodes. It starts well, gets boring in the middle, and picks up again at the end. In my opinion, subtitles aren't necessary; everything seems easily understandable. The problem is that zc is not a voice actor, and the series pays the price for it. I don't know if it was just my feeling, but while watching it, I felt like I was 17, with a diary in one hand and my heart in the other... and I don't know if this is necessarily a good thing.
Dream Theater A View From The Top Of The World

Started poorly and ended the same way. Diehard fans are not the ideal subjects to write reviews.
I appreciated them a lot until the (half) disappointment of Falling to Infinity. Then there was some rekindling with Six Degrees and Metropolis Pt. 2, but the love was already gone. I’ve seen them live a few times and have always had fun, and I believe they’re incapable of writing bad songs, but lately, they're not even writing beautiful and memorable ones. The little I've heard from the latest has bored me to death.
I’ll give this one a try, but I have little faith.
Michael Sarnoski Pig

Cage has the pig wife in this movie 😂😂😂.
Strangely, I had understood that there was only the pig with Cage. About Cage, he has done some obscenities, but also good films; lately he has sold out to pay for his follies and little vices.
Anyway, I'm curious.
Hwang Dong-hyuk Squid Game

Seen it all. I liked it. Some elements felt a bit predictable, but it was enjoyable to watch. I agree with the references mentioned in the comments above.
What strikes me is that a series in Korean, so not dubbed but just subtitled, has had this "hyper" success. I don't know who Netflix's marketing guy is, but he must be a genius. The memes that were circulating online alone served as a megaphone at (almost, I presume) zero cost.

Red sky at night, good weather is in sight.
Testament Titans Of Creation

Heard it once and that was enough for me. For me, Gene Hoglan is one of the few things I liked about the ciddi.
Anyway, after The Gathering, honestly negligible.
Damon Lindelof The Leftovers
Voto:
I watched it a few years ago, one episode after another. It’s definitely not a fast-paced series, but I really liked it. I found the cast to be very good (Tyler a little less so), especially Thereoux. The anguish and disorientation are palpable. It wasn’t particularly appreciated by the public, but the effects are definitely not a series for everyone.
Duran Duran Invisible

I have always found them aesthetically displeasing. They have their specific weight in certain '80s sounds. Some of their songs are known even by the rocks, but I have always preferred (well) other shores. That said, associating acid rock with duranx2 is really impossible for me. The review seems a bit too much like a fanboy.
Fates Warning Long Day Good Night
Voto:
An underrated band, at least by the general public.
They've never made a bad album. A pleasant shade of gray is a fantastic thing, but so is the more modern disconnected.
I listen to this whenever I can.
Eric Kripke The Boys

I was very biased and worried. I loved Ennis with the preacher and feared a watered-down adaptation for the boys. Fortunately, it didn't turn out that way. I binged the two seasons in a flash. Anthony Starr is amazing, but he was also great in Banshee, an incredible series that nobody ever talks about.
