The ultimate stereotype of a mediocre group. If the singer hadn't sung with Evanescence, no one would give a damn about them.

The album in question was destroyed by specialized magazines, in complete contrast to the opinion I formed from the very first listen; where the "journalists" wrote about elementary arrangements, I felt a solidity and hardcore attitude, where the "journalists" talked about musical mishmashes, I sensed a desire to experiment and to push the boundaries that metal music had at that time. If it weren't for an album like Roots, many of the renowned nu metal bands wouldn't even exist, and a producer like Ross Robinson wouldn't be considered a guru.

The best platter by Sentenced. I don’t find much affinity with the melodic death of Dark Tranquillity. I preferred the old singer Taneli Jarva (who, if I remember correctly, was also the bassist of Impaled Nazarene) more personal and vigorous than Ville Laihiala (the latter really poor and arrogant live in the three times I saw Sentenced). Anyone who loved this album should try listening to Cryhavoc.

I can also hear a bit of Ozric Tentacles in it.
Stone Temple Pilots Core

A 4-star album: slightly inferior to Ten, Badmotorfinger, and Dirt. A pleasant CD to listen to with an expressive Scott Weiland like the singers he draws inspiration from. Definitely much better than the one he did with Velvet Revolver.
Benediction Transcend The Rubicon

Furthermore, I believe that Dave Ingram then joined Bolt Thrower, I think in '98, and was subsequently replaced by another vocalist. Also, because I saw them live in '98 as support for Death, on their last tour, and Dave Ingram was not on vocals.
Benediction Transcend The Rubicon

Not to be pedantic, but in my opinion, the singer on this album is not Mark "Barney" Greenway, but Dave Ingram, who also sang on "The dreams you dread," which if I remember correctly was not the reissue of one of their old EPs. Mark "Barney" Greenway only sang on the first CD "The grand leveller." Anyway, it's an average album for an average band, although I must admit that at the time "The dreams you dread" made me bang my head for quite a while.
Fear Factory Soul Of A New Machine
Voto:
Not my favorite Fear Factory album, but it would be foolish to overlook its historical importance. Very nice review, just one note: the musical genre is "THRASH" and not "trash."
Hatebreed Perseverance

For The.Core. Sorry, you're right, I confused Perseverance with Supremacy. I beg your pardon. My comments were referring to Supremacy.
Hatebreed Perseverance
Voto:
Inferior to Rise of Brutality. In my opinion, with this album Hatebreed is twisting upon themselves, recycling in a dull way and with no signs of growth.
