Teho Teardo Music for Wilder Mann

But isn't it Teho Teardo from Meathead? An industrial metal band from the early 90s... I remember they were identified as pioneers of the genre back then...

My favorite from HG is (perhaps it would be more accurate to say "was" since it's been 10 years since I last listened to it) Planet E. I remember them as discreet arrangers, but maybe Planet E was their most "strange" album compared to the German standard... the best thing was Rettke's voice, which was a bit more "masculine" than the typical high-pitched ones of the genre. Rettke's little cap worn in the photo of the CD booklet was also great... in the style of LL Cool J from the late '90s...

The album is among the things I still need to listen to, the review, as usual, is excellent........ I admit I'm starting to lose track of what post-hardcore really means!!! Basically, I don't care about the classification for its own sake........
To me, they have always reminded me of Callisto (or maybe Callisto has always reminded me of them)!!!!!
I don't know if Callisto is post-hardcore........
Destruction Spiritual Genocide

Bah! I've always preferred American Thrash over the more primitive German style. I struggle to put (for example) Megadeth, Testament, Slayer, and Anthrax on the same level as Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, and Tankard.

If I remember correctly, Mr. Benton once said that he would pass away on his 33rd birthday.............in my opinion, the 33 springs have come and gone, and he is still here!!!!!

Chilling review...for its ugliness!!! I have always considered Necrodeath pioneers on Italian soil, but all in all derivativel in purely artistic/musical terms, and, to be completely honest, also somewhat childish regarding the style of the themes they address. Put simply, they are not Slayer, and you can tell.
Tesla The Great Radio Controversy

Well, what can I say, great review. I love the melancholic/sarcastic choice of the introduction. As for Tesla, I’ve always considered them a great band, not exactly lucky, but a great band nonetheless. Right now, I wouldn’t know if the reviewed album is their best... it’s been ages since I last listened to them. And one more thing: it doesn’t seem to me that Tesla were Canadian; I remember them being from the United States... I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong!
