I discovered them thanks to the Breed video on Headbangers Ball (goodness, how old am I?)... I fell in love with D.E.I. and then bought every new release of theirs. I can't say I love them madly, and they’re not a band I often crave to listen to, but once I start, I find it hard to stop. This happens to me with Meshuggah and Neurosis... I wonder why?!?! I’ve seen them live a couple of times... I fondly remember the dazed faces during their songs :-)

And to think that The dreams you dread is my favorite album by the Benedicton.

I believe I have the "Saltrubbed Eyes" CD at home... listened to it once and then filed it away^^'
I think they are more famous for being the former band of Patrick Jensen from The Haunted! Anyway, I don't remember them.........and that's not a good sign!

It's a compilation and therefore has very little appeal for me, but I've always liked MDB in all their "outfits." The same goes for Anathema. The same is almost true for Paradise Lost!

I already realized that I was the only jerk who loved Soul Survivor! In my ranking, I put SS in first place, then Erase, and then comes False.........I guess I'm just a softy!

Good, perhaps very good. The design slightly deviates from the typically Italian one. So far it captivates and convinces; the final verdict is for posterity. And if I may say: how much I miss John Doe!!!!

I remember them emerging after the success of The Gathering. The Netherlands was a small hotbed of "talents" at that time, I also remember Phlebotomized, who also started with a gloomy sound derived from English influences before eventually touching the shores of stoner!!!!

I remember Danteferno from '95 (I think), but I only recall the name and the title, even though I can proudly say I bought the CD at a second-hand market. A small thing compared to what was being released in the same period and genre.........they were unfortunate to compete with the English gothic crew (Paradise Lost, Anathema, and MDB.....)!!!

Too well-groomed, but perhaps it’s my tricologically disadvantaged situation that makes me say they are too well-groomed!!!!
