I saw it years ago too, but I have a vivid image of the Spacek covered in blood... it's one of those scenes that stay etched in the mind and also in history!

Not in the mood to listen to him^^'
My favorite from Obituary remains World Demise, but I think I'm one of the few who appreciated it.
Various Artists Death is Just the Beginning

My WhatsApp status (before it was abolished) was just ...Death is just the beginning...^^'.
I must have the vinyl of one of these compilations, but I can't remember the number.
Of the names mentioned, I always fondly remember Pungent Stench (Austrian if I’m not mistaken) who had a unique, twisted vision of death metal with almost blues influences. They also had some memorable covers!!

I have Repeater in my iTunes playlist, but I rarely listen to it. I have some difficulty accepting the sounds of that album.....(I'll) try to listen to it more attentively.

Dema, you make me feel like a girl!
Impetigo Ultimo Mondo Cannibale

Decades since I last listened to them, but I've always preferred death metal in its more "structured" forms or perhaps "disordered" but in an organized way!
My God, how twisted I am!
Anyway, I like All Hope Is Gone......

I understand you. When you can’t find a CD in your collection, it drives you crazy. It happened to me with Pornograffiti by Extreme^^'. I choose Converge my whole life though.....wow what an album Jane Doe.
My Dying Bride Meisterwerk II

The most complex element of the sacred English triad (Paradise Lost / Anathema / MDB). I first encountered it with Turn Loose the Swans: I was struck by it! It was the time when anything "bizarre" captivated me... during that period, I listened to some truly terrible stuff. They managed to improve with "The angel....", but then I was a bit disappointed by "Like gods of the sun" and subsequently disheartened by "34.788%...Complete"........... then I lost sight of them. It was a bit like that period when even Paradise Lost started shooting blanks....... then I lost sight of them too. Even Anathema........ oh no, Anathema has not missed a shot yet. The latter have managed to change their skin without losing a hint of quality!
Savatage Ghost in the Ruins: A Tribute to Criss Oliva
Voto:
My first encounter with Savatage occurred with Streets..... I was struck, even though my listening habits at the time leaned more toward the brutal side of "classic" metal. Criss Oliva always reminded me of Randy Rhoads in style and taste. A friend gave me Dead Winter Dead for my birthday, and I believe it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever received! The album in question, if I recall correctly, was released pretty close to the live in Japan: two ways to experience Savatage live, one with Jon Oliva on vocals and one with Zac Stevens.
