City and Colour The Hurry and the Harm

My favorite is Sometimes.... over time Dallas has gotten carried away, and his music has lost its spontaneity. Nevertheless, he still has a wonderful timbre.
P.S.: the alexisonfire, especially in their early days, are not bad at all!

Vote of confidence for this... I (vaguely) remember the two previous ones mentioned, but it’s been ages since I last listened to them... today I brush off the dust.
I don't know why, initially, Candiria came to mind... Who knows, I have so much stuff in my ears that sometimes the synapses surprise me.

I like it, it's perhaps the album I listen to the most.

Listen to yourself once upon a time, probably in relation to the same reception you mentioned. Forget it very soon.
Brujería Pocho Aztlan

I also remember the hype (when it wasn’t even called hype yet) surrounding the band: drug traffickers, delinquents, wanted criminals, and so on. I also remember the cover with the decapitated head that I hid from my parents when they lent me the vinyl... one of those covers so "ugly" that you can’t look away from it.
Musically speaking, as a "non-committed" group, they never really impressed me much, and I doubt I’ll listen to the new one. Nevertheless, brujeria are one of those bands that help metal girls understand that the young sprout in front of them is way more extreme than extreme! :-)

Somewhere I must have the yellow vinyl of the album with the cover featuring the chubby guy in the leather fetish mask.

I'm reading it these days^^'
For now, I'll only rate the review.
Alter Bridge The Last Hero

I followed them up to Blackbird, but out of laziness, I kind of let them go for a bit. I’ve seen them live a couple of times and I can confirm that Kennedy is a phenomenon (even on guitar). I’m a bit more critical of Tremonti, who used an "ultrametal" guitar sound in Creed for the genre they played; he tried it in AB as well, but luckily someone managed to bring him back to his senses a little. I don’t always appreciate the production of their albums, but their discography (which I know) is very good and I’ve always considered them excellent representatives of contemporary American hard rock.

I need to take my life back into my hands and start (re)seeing certain things!

I don't know this one, but I will make sure to fill the gap soon. Rece, it's all there!
I allow myself to say (personal opinion) that of the sacred prog triad Yes - Genesis - KC, the latter are the only ones who have modernized their sound, never remaining anchored to the past. In fact, in some cases, they were ahead of what the sound of the era would have been.....the first thing that comes to mind is the weightiness of the sound in the 90s, a choice that the other historical prog bands would never even have considered.
