this is a great album... it has a lot of New York new wave vibes but in my opinion, their originality lies in the fact that they've infused their black identity into the typical beat, the anxious tremor of new wave... new wave has always been an affair for whites almost exclusively, while the tvotr give it that unmistakable imprint that I would dare to define in some way "soul," especially in the sung parts but not only...

I'm really into these guys... but downloading them? Not a chance... are they really worth sixteen euros...? I've read that they blast your ears with noise, while other parts are ethereal and dreamy... so much noise and little substance, right...?

great recommendation...but just a little something more to attract the skeptics...the album is really beautiful...even though they're not exactly similar, the extremely muffled and slowed-down atmosphere gives me the same feelings as the Cowboy Junkies.
