The Good, The Bad & The Queen The Good, The Bad & The Queen
Voto:
a memorable album, perhaps the best from Albarn...maybe it sounds more old than new, which is why if it had been released 20 years ago it would have been groundbreaking...
Gabriele Salvatores Io Non Ho Paura
Voto:
The film seems a bit overrated to me, but if only Italian cinema were all like this!
Linkin Park Minutes To Midnight

what a mess...linkin park to the stake! just yesterday, an avid linkin park fan scolded me for listening to damon albarn...I felt sorry for him
Nanni Moretti Bianca (1984)
Voto:
BEAUTIFUL....my favorite Italian film...Great Nanni Moretti...the only film of Moretti's from the last 10 years I like is "La Stanza Del Figlio"..."Aprile" is a botched imitation of his beautiful previous film, while "Il Caimano," besides being a bit too clever, seemed to go too far outside of his way of making cinema (frequent quick changes in shots...)
Nanni Moretti Il Caimano
Voto:
the correct rating would be 3.5...in my opinion, Moretti has definitely done better, in fact, this might be his worst film after "Aprile" (really shabby and a poorly executed copy of "Caro Diario"), but that doesn't change the fact that the ending with Moretti-Berlusconi is anything but weak, indeed it is unexpected...but as someone pointed out, more attention should be given to directors like Martone or Garrone (Sorrentino doesn't need it, he already has the attention!)...

Great album by Uzeda! The best of the band is Professor Gulisano; I see him every day at school and he fascinates me with his strange monologues... this band in Italy should have the success that it doesn't!
Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Vol. 1
Voto:
great movie, anyway I prefer the second part.
Neri Parenti Fracchia la belva umana
Voto:
the movie isn't great but at times it's hilarious...the real star of the film is Lino Banfi but I believe the village actor is definitely more talented. Back then, good Paolo was considered a class A actor, while Banfi was (and still is) the idol of the young and the cheeky...anyway, for fans of both, it's a cult.
Luciano Salce Il Primo Tragico Fantozzi
Voto:
great movie....the best ones are undoubtedly the first two, followed by "Fantozzi va in pensione" (in my opinion an underrated chapter) and "Fantozzi contro tutti" (saved by Diego Abatantuono's performance as Cecco the baker...)
Stanley Kubrick Arancia Meccanica
Voto:
Even "Il cacciatore" is a great film, that doesn't take away from the fact that Kubrick had his own unique style (just like Lynch or Pasolini...).
