Tonight on Rete4 they're showing "Caruso: zero in condotta," the only film I still need to see. This one too has been described as a failure.

Gorillaz Plastic Beach

Unfortunately, Gorillaz is one of those groups that will never be appreciated as they truly deserve. This is because the focus is more on the marketing/video/commercial/cartoon band aspect from MTV. Creating perfect pop songs today almost seems like a crime; they could at least pay a bit more attention to the lyrics. But no, these aren’t the Massive Attack who invented a genre; here we are dealing with those from the conto arancio commercial. Let’s leave it be, come on.
It's strange, though, that this album, so immediate (but also so challenging and tough!) has been praised by critics and received little love from fans and the general public (because they say it lacks a killer single like Clint Eastwood and Feel Good Inc., as if an album must necessarily consist of 2-3 radio-friendly singles and a bunch of fillers).

Massive Attack Heligoland

At first listen, it seemed like an album without any praise or blame. In my opinion, "Pray For Rain," "Babel," and "Paradise Circus" are excellent. The track featuring Albarn is decent. The rest is average, never dipping too low. Worth a re-listen.
