great review for a fantastic album! DenverNuggets, I instead believe that this album will receive strongly negative comments precisely because it was made by Albarn and has been hyped by the media! Just think, if it had gone unnoticed, everyone would be praising it as a masterpiece (which it is)... Anyway, Alex James from Blur is right: "Damon is too underrated as a songwriter," he deserves three times the success he has, yet he's mocked for his pop past and little regarded due to his abrupt aging (do you remember that "Blue" style face)?
