"The problem with Radiohead is that they always have the same state of mind" (Jamie Hewlett) "This is what Jamie says, not me" (Damon Albarn). You would have done better to confirm it, Damon. Blur is better than the hyper-overrated Radiohead. True, as Scaruffi says, that Blur didn’t invent anything, but it’s also true that Yorke's band has little to say and hides behind more or less "cultured" experimentalism. As for Oasis, after What's The Story, what remains?
Adriano Celentano Facciamo Finta Che Sia Vero

A review written a bit randomly, but the album is perhaps the best by Celentano in the last 50 years. He is still the king of the ignorant at a solid 74 years old (not 72).

In truth, this is his second album; the first (pulled from stores) can only be found on YouTube. In my spare time, I'll give it a listen....

Agreed with Benny, with this his first album he hit the mark (even though he didn’t invent ANYTHING), but let's wait for his future works before making a definitive judgment (whether positive or negative).

I would have given it a 4 if the album had been just a little more understated, but the songs, taken one by one, are almost all good. In short, this Lana Del Rey, as much as she may be backed by her billionaire father, is not all fluff, marketing, and silicone. Another flaw is including one of the best tracks, "Lucky Ones," only in the deluxe version.

Nicolas Winding Refn Drive

I don't understand who goes overboard with praise for a film that is neither particularly good nor bad. Infinite better works are ruthlessly torn apart because "there's that extra minute," "that drop in rhythm in the scene following the...," while "Drive" (which has its reasons, because it "consecrates" Gosling, because it "consecrates" Refn to the mainstream junk-food audience) - and which, by the way, is not free of the aforementioned flaws - is exempt from criticism. It seems obvious to me that a film like this cannot be appreciated by an audience of teenagers going to the cinema expecting yet another clichéd car movie, but even looking at it from the perspective of the "chosen ones," cinephiles, things don't change just because they are swimming against the current: the usual "Hitchcockian" collective hysteria.

A whole bunch of nonsense. So the real music would be national-popular? Starting at 9 instead of 15, 20, 30 necessarily means being the best? The common folks buy records? Yes, maybe from the local vugumbrà when the computer crashes and it's not possible to use torrents or emule... but please!
