Isobel Campbell the female voice of Portishead? Kosmo, go straight to the blackboard and bring me the diary so I can give you a note.
Jamiroquai Rock Dust Light Star

Ah, of course I agree about the cover...unwatchable, and above all I agree on the uselessness of the anathemas that Jamiroquai launches against everything and everyone in the album credits. Not even the worst Celentano could be more ridiculous, generic, and childish. Dear Jay Kay, think about the hot girls and your Lamborghinis and Ferraris, because religion, pollution, and hunger in the third world are grown-up matters.

Apart from the fact that in the review you always get the title of the album wrong, I have nothing else to say. I also buy Jamiroquai albums blindly, especially since I’ve never had any major disappointments from his 7 albums. I'm deepening my listening these days, especially in the car... favorite song at the moment: "Hey Floyd"... it pumps that’s a pleasure!
Paolo Conte Nelson
Voto:
Beautiful review, very evocative and autumnal indeed! Of the last three works, this is the one I prefer the most. I find it slightly superior to "Psiche." As has already been said, Conte has already done his best years ago (and it couldn’t be otherwise at 74 years old, unless your name is Compay Segundo), but it’s always a pleasure to listen to his warm and worn voice. And now I'm going to re-listen to that little gem of Do Do as well.
Christopher Nolan Inception
Voto:
I agree with you on Nolan; as for the references, I'll throw in a nice sprinkle of "Atto Di forza - Total Recall" by Paul Verhoeven, at least regarding the loss of the concept of reality and the floating between various levels of imagination, subconscious, and dreams. But what could I have meant?

As has rightly been pointed out, there are too many hiccups in the plot that at more than one point gets tangled up in itself. In my opinion, they wanted to put too much on the table (which you have to do to impress the audience in 2010), but then left some situations unresolved/incomplete, and I'm not obviously referring to the "open" ending; that would actually be the most expected. I don't know, but it seems to me that from a narrative perspective they wanted to recreate a kind of "amped-up" Matrix, and objectively the result wasn't achieved. The rating is definitely not a 5; I would say 3.75! Then, if it sounds cool to say it's a masterpiece, then I’ll say it too.

Dear Neil, this time your disc doesn't grab me..sorry! It's a little bit boring, in my opinion.

@Geb: could you specify what kind of comments these (pseudo)radical chic were making behind you? The Circle is indeed a real magnet for this type of people, and you should see when it fills up with indie-hipster types, the conversations you hear... basically nothing mixed with nada.
@Algol: I compliment you on your abs, and your non-baldness!
But what kind of music do the Night Terrors make?

Aho mortacci tua, but can you tell me how old the hell are you? Amber Webber isn't a hot chick, but that icy demeanor of hers and a bit of nonchalance, combined with her emerging belly (at least the last time I saw her in person, she had it), shown as you say with innate elegance, makes her quite intriguing! "Druganaut" for my part could last even 50 minutes and I would never get tired of it... And if they had ended with "Bright Lights" (like I believe they did at some other concert), what would you have done... would you have stuffed yourself with Mentos and Coca Cola?
The Black Angels Phosphene Dream

Wow, how many images and how many adjectives do these 36 minutes of music send you, Vivis.. "Phosphene Dream" is indeed an anachronistically perfect gem. I would like to add more, but after more than 24 hours awake, my brain is melting like a jellyfish in the sun, so I’m off to bed. Like a ship leaves its wake, I leave you my signature.
