Sparse review, but very evocative. I only have "Vista Point" from them, which if I'm not mistaken should be this album + the EP "Pot Head". I too want to live in the sun and I want to have a big bird, it may not be important, but deep down it’s really beautiful.

Nooo Captain, why do you say that to me? I like it, I've listened to it quite a bit, and it's not bad at all. Of course, if someone expects genius insights from the Kasabian, then they've picked the wrong band.. but this really deserves it.

I only have "The Lightning Ride" by King Diamond, not bad at all.
Pantera Reinventing The Steel

But what kind of genre is "groove metal"?? I don't agree with what you wrote; it certainly doesn't reach the heights of their previous works, but it remains a badass album that, precisely because it isn't "easy to digest," never gets old even ten years later. "Hellbound," "You've Got To Belong To It," and "Yesterday Don't Mean A Shit" are still killer tracks that little bands like Lamb Of God (who often cite Pantera as their influence) can only dream of. The cover is awful, it's true, but "Reinventing The Steel" is untouchable!!

..so you want to tell me that Michael Jackson is dead?

Bartle, I agree on "Phantom Lord"... I mean, out of the 10 songs from "Kill 'em All," they chose the most insignificant one... no comment. And I wanted "Whiplash"! "Seek And Destroy," as well as "One" and "Enter Sandman," have been performed for years just to fulfill the obligation, but I think it’s time to retire them. "Blackened," "Fight Fire With Fire," and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" are unjustifiably absent for me. Are you cooking herb chicken by any chance?

During the first 2/3 songs, James's voice could hardly be heard at all, then it slightly improved... the usual shitty acoustics of Palalottomatica! Bartle, what do you have against "Of Wolf And Man"?? I really enjoyed it when it kicked in!! Mediocre setlist..and enough with that damn "Nothing Else Matters"..

Gianluca Grignani Campi Di Popcorn
Voto:
This and "Fabbrica di Plastica" are the only CDs that deserve Grignani. Here he was still in the drugged/inspired phase; later he would move on to the drugged/pathetic phase. "Baby Revolution" has its strength in its skewed simplicity, "Campi di Popcorn" has the same chords as "Creep," but the final tension of "Scusami Se Ti Amo" is truly worthy. And anyway, "Fabbrica" is unmatched.

A sincere review, at least as much as the underrated group in question. I always prefer "Psychotic Supper," but this one deserves recognition too. I even have it on vinyl!!!
