Vetiver Tight Knit
Voto:
The review is very well written, but for me "Tight Knit" is the least successful album in Vetiver's discography. What has been lost along the way are the bucolic suggestions that emerged from the first two (especially from "To Find Me Gone," which is also my favorite). It’s really hard to get to the end without yawning; there are very few sparks in this work. Everything is quite bland, I would say! @Oleeinar: they were in Rome about a month ago, but I also completely snubbed them... see why we are alike? :)

I prefer the next two "Uprising" and "Morning Star" to this one. Hey Sfascia, I just used a new moisturizing plant milk shampoo from Garnier, which left my hair smooth and silky, making you want to run your fingers through it. As the first shampoo of the year, I’d say it’s not bad.

First of all, as Gustavo rightly says, it’s dARI and not DARI... you know, like the dEUS. Tom Barman's band should be honored by this tribute. Then I hear talk about horny thirteen-year-olds, wet panties, hormones skyrocketing... everyone just thinking about getting laid, honestly... shame on you. @Alexx: it’s called latent homosexuality, and it’s becoming more and more common, don't worry. And now, excuse me, but I’m off to listen to the London Beat, now that’s some serious A-class stuff.

I didn’t know about the release of this new CD either; it’s not mentioned anywhere.. well! "Mind How You Go," aside from a couple of songs, didn’t really blow me away, but I absolutely adore her; she has a voice... how can I say it... "smooth as silk."

Ancestors Of Sound Mind

Ugh, you're confusing it with the first one, that has 2 long pieces and that's it. This one has 4 long pieces with very brief interludes. For me, "Of Sound Mind" has a lot of form but little substance. At least "Neptune With Fire" wasn't so pretentious.

Great and plentiful!

I prefer the Heathen from "Victims Of Deception."

@Mopaga: for those who are just tuning in, let’s recall the comment you’re referring to (it was indeed a review of the Kula Shaker): "I remember when Mystical Machine Gun was released (I didn't even have the internet), I was determined to buy Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts. I went to a little cd shop and asked candidly: 'Excuse me (because when we want to be informal in Naples, we use the polite form :D), do you have the Kula Shaker cd?' and he equally candidly replied: 'Ahahahahah, no no, I think they are still stuck with Kul in water.' That experience traumatized me. Since then, I decided that I would never attempt to buy an original cd in the province of Naples again..." Definitely one of the best comments ever!
Causa Sui Summer Sessions Vol. 1-3
Voto:
Volume 1 I also have on vinyl, so I’m part of the "Club dei 500"… what an honor. The other two are slightly inferior and less… I can't find the word… mmmm… let’s say they have focused the target less. However, the triple box set of Causa Sui, after Bruno Vespa’s book "Donne di cuori," is absolutely the best gift for this Christmas. And now excuse me, but I’m going to give my girlfriend a blowjob.
