But in 2010 are we still using phrases like "make it yours immediately"? Not even Mario Luzzato Fegiz would use it anymore.

It's one of my favorite posthumous live albums, even compared to those from 1970. Here the tones are darker and more psychedelic, and even the not-so-perfect recording makes everything feel much "warmer." I rate it 4.5, rounded up to 5.

But how could Pino Scotto "the tough and pure" who doesn’t compromise with anyone and has insulted Brian Johnson a thousand times because he doesn’t like the way he sings, share the stage with Le Vibrazioni to open the Ac/Dc concert? On Tuesday afternoon, I’ll send him a text during his show; I already know what he’ll reply... "'fanculo coglione..vai Jack!!"

I miss this, but I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who considers "Dehumanizer" a good album, maybe not unreachable... :) since it has been slaughtered by most fans.

Exactly, Fede! And anyway, 50 euros per person at the restaurant, wine included, can be acceptable, of course not always… but I wouldn’t want to go off topic!

A very welcome return, as you rightly write, an excellent production, up with the times but at the same time their sound remains unmistakable. Above-average songs, even if to define them "one of the best hard rock bands ever" is a stretch! :) They were supposed to tour this summer as the opening act for ZZ TOP, but I understand they won't be coming after all. Too bad because I really wanted to see them live. I guess I'll spend the summer on the promenade in Riccione with this CD in the car, wearing a leather vest and with my arm out the window, calling out to foreign women and inviting them to experience a real Latin male. If anyone wants to join...

@Fede: there's nothing wrong with getting your music to as many people as possible. I was just responding to Cornell's statement where he said that "they're on the sidelines and they don't care about playing in stadiums, etc." And then the fact of making "pleasing" singles (maybe also because the record label is fucking with them to make them), it still leads you to accept compromises that can impact the quality of the songs, it's the same old story. "Commercial" for me doesn’t mean "ugly," but in their case, there has definitely been a drop in inspiration.

But who is this guy, the colored man who has been blowing into a trumpet for 50 years? Mmmm yes..not bad.

Wait Twiggy, to be "an honest Italian rock band" live they really make their presence felt, that’s what I meant. Then if you go home disappointed because they didn’t sing "Fear Of The Dark" there’s nothing you can do about it.
