I really don't like them; I had obviously heard their name before. Pretazzo recommended this album to me, and it was the first time I didn't like a record he had pointed out to me.

the great Paul Gilbert, I got to know him by listening to his beautiful cover of Karn Evil 9 by ELP. what a serious lack, shooting, the stage not elevated, really.

Federico Fellini Ginger e Fred

Poletti, I imagine you know that Ginger Rogers had a hell of a time on this film. I believe she even sued Fellini, or am I wrong?

Definitely Roger Rabbit for me too, but not Alien. I know you don’t like sci-fi :-D

Cult films are not necessarily perfect and milestones in world cinema. Thelma & Louise is a great film, very well directed, well acted, adrenaline-pumping, touching, and with all the ingredients to make its mark in history, but its value is not that of a masterpiece. My opinion, of course.

But yes, nobody says it’s ugly, but it has very manipulative components designed to win over audiences, with exaggerations and absurdities that, in my opinion, were deliberately included to make the film unforgettable. Cinematically speaking, Scott has done better; I repeat, with The Duellists, Alien, and Blade Runner—these last ones were crucial for refreshing a genre that was struggling for ideas at the time. Roger Rabbit deserves credit for being innovative back then; that’s its significance.

Thelma & Louise is a cult film Arnold, well-crafted and with good and fascinating ideas, but its actual value is limited Arnold, it’s true. Of Ridley Scott, I prefer his debut film The Duellists, Blade Runner, and Alien. I’ve never seen Ginger and Fred because it just doesn’t attract me; maybe I made a mistake…
Pentangle Basket Of Light
Voto:
I'm slowly listening to all the Pentangle albums. Fusillo, why don’t you review Cruel Sister? For me, it’s even better than this one, especially because of the presence of Jack Orion. The instrumental part is phenomenal with that metallic and bright vibraphone, the bass twisting in the background, and then the guitar... acid jazz with medieval folk, fabulous!!
Dulce Pontes O Primeiro Canto
Voto:
you can say it loud Bonnie. it's always worth reading you Grass. Until next time! Hi Fusì, I saw you also reviewed Dulce Pontes. It seems to me that Madredeus is the most internationally renowned Portuguese group and more accessible, or am I mistaken? Certainly, Amalia Rodriguez is an elite artist as far as I know. Fado is very evocative and touching but truly a stab to the heart; it’s pure sadness.
