Bob Dylan invented folk rock but not rock, let's not exaggerate :-) anyway, Pretazzo, Bubi is right, "Like a Rolling Stone" and "All Along the Watchtower" are definitely rock. Why do you say he didn't make rock? :-)

I've always really liked this version of The Gift. Not perfect, and as they say, the V.U. were 'another thing,' but it's a live performance that really resonates. I'm in the middle of a V.U. revival these days, after a long time. It's like rediscovering them all over again.
