P.P.S. I would have given 5 to Tin Drum and to Crocodiles by Echo, and a couple of points less to Love And Rockets (I hate post-Bauhaus projects, including Tones and Murphy...). Furthermore, you are too generous with Talk Talk and Ultravox! (and instead, you give a measly four stars to the Vigin Prunes who deserve six!)

Egebamyasi, I agree with all your statements, especially when you point out that compared to other artists or musical products of the same genre, Xymox are nothing but the "wheel of the cart"; samples in redundancy and a pedantic reiteration of clichés (as I made sure to note in the introduction of the review). However, probably the strength of this album lies precisely in leveraging canons that in other cases would be detrimental or even in poor taste (see the "baroque" atmospheres). Essentially, I reviewed this album because I love to review only positive examples, and on Debaser it has become difficult to find good albums that haven't been reviewed at least twice! I repeat, it’s not a masterpiece, but an excellent debut that unfortunately has not had a happy follow-up, in my opinion. It’s not worth bringing up either the "sacred monsters" or other less enduring and known bands that are still far better. As for Xymox's luck in gothic clubs, I can't say much since I don't frequent them; in any case, it is, of course, an element that tends to further disadvantage them. P.S. I do not agree with your judgment on the eponymous of And Also The Trees; I like it!

Forget ruun, it’s a bit of a disappointment (also pricey: 19.00 euros…).

I align myself with the previous comments and with the evaluation of the album.

Dear brAthiN, here are the links, since you don't have any books: www.filosofia.unibo.it/masterpaesag gio/ Testi/lezione%20Ferriolo.doc www.catpaisatge.net/fitxers/2003_ma ssimo_venturi.pdf www.atopon.it/Biblioteca_recensioni /mito.html www.dispenseronline.it/servizi/1858 .html Do you need any more? Or have you been humiliated enough? With this, I rest my case, I feel sorry for those who had intelligent points for a healthy discussion and instead had to witness an unworthy spectacle because of this fool.

I almost forgot... Unfortunately, there are cowards like breathing, who use other people's names due to a lack of arguments, so from now on, ignore any comments that do not have my name in blue.
P.S. The one about "Ethos" is fragment no. 119 from Heraclitus, for those interested without the late adolescent crises that afflict poor breathing.

Of course, the comment with my name isn’t mine, but belongs to this treacherous scoundrel who doesn’t know what to do with his afternoons and seeks to give meaning to his life by offending. I’ve already replied to you: keep reviewing Le Vibrazioni. The fragment, of course, is from Heraclitus, as a simple Google search (or philosophy books, which Breathing uses poorly and infrequently) demonstrates. Congratulations on reaffirming your nature as a bored and crude ignoramus. Go back to the swamp now.

A Wanderer: you will see that it will be a nice experience...
A zaireeka: Yeats is good for every occasion...
A dune buggy: this is the beginning of Homer's Odyssey, my dear, mine is more modestly (but not that much...) a Heraclitean fragment.
Thank you for the nice comments, unlike characters like Breathing you are very encouraging!

I almost forgot... wenderer, I suggest you listen to it all, the Peer Gynt, and perhaps read the fantastic drama by Ibsen...
