Orbital Blue Album

It was "Style"
Lucio Battisti La sposa occidentale
Voto:
Well Gabbianone, maybe you don't understand because you don't pay the due attention. It seems to me that we were just discussing the interpretative complexity in the white work of Battisti.
Future Sound Of London The Isness
Voto:
In truth, it was released in two editions, one under the pseudonym Amorphous Androgynous, the other under FSOL. However, it's true, it was a short review; it was the first one I wrote.
Orbital Blue Album
Voto:
Well, to be honest, this Blue album is 100 times better for me than "The altogether," which was just pure fluff.
Vagina Dentata Organ The Great Masturbator
Voto:
Enough
I must have it.
Mayhem De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Voto:
("Black Metal" is from 1982, so early '80s)
I had to listen to this album more out of curiosity for something that doesn’t belong to me than from genuine interest. I won't rate the album; I don’t feel ready. The review, on the other hand, could have focused more on the music than on Lucignolo / satanism and various nonsense. Yet, on the other hand, it's something I've often noticed: enthusiasts of this genre are more interested in the spiritual side of the work than in the music itself.
Muse Origin Of Symmetry
Voto:
As far as I'm concerned, Muse are superfluous, and this review seems a bit superficial to me (Talking about emotions is fine, but from a music review, I also expect some connections to the bands that preceded them, maybe some notes on style, quotes from lyrics... "Standing on the shoulder of giants," to put it like Oasis. Or Newton, depending)
In any case, personally, Bellamy's eunuch voice must appeal to someone, and for me, who doesn't like it, it comes off as downright annoying (falsetto, enough already), the romantic harmonies of the tracks seem lifted from the worst tacky trance à la Ferry Corsten, all packaged in a rock aesthetic that, well, we've been carrying around practically unchanged since Led Zeppelin.
This is the other side of the MUSE coin; it would be nice to discuss it in an objective review.
No hard feelings, Stefano, but I can't appreciate them from any perspective. If they hadn't written "Fillip" on their first album, FOR ME, they would have no reason to exist.
Just my opinion, eh :D
Madredeus Antologia
Voto:
Beautiful, I gave it to a friend two years ago and it was one of the most enjoyable listens in the last... let's say 5 years. I want to highlight "Electronico", a collection of remixes made on the tracks of Madredeus. Oxalà rearranged by Télépopmusik was very nice!

Hmm. If you're good-looking, it matters. :D
