John McTiernan Predator

McTiernan in a state of grace, in a couple of years hit two cult classics like "Predator" and "Die Hard." Too bad the sequels to Predator have all been more or less garbage, maybe the best is this

Who knows, maybe someone will blame the acoustics of Rock Em Ring, but here they sound terrible... and I have all the albums, so it’s not like I’m being biased.

I've heard that live they're pretty mediocre... on YouTube, you can see some performances that aren't exactly stellar...

Indeed, when they tell me 70 euros for an hour and a half of concert... well, quite a lot. Moreover, that there were other bands; almost everyone who went for the SOAD didn't even know Sick of it All...

How much was the entrance fee? A friend told me 70 euros... that's a bit much...
Terry George Reservation Road

Two great performances by the protagonists, quite underrated, even though this type of story may have been seen before, it’s not clichéd. I admit it hasn’t left a strong impression in my mind... 3.5
Eli Craig Tucker & Dale vs Evil

Great! Not many of us will have seen it.. A small cult gem, with some memorable scenes (yes, the one with the wood chipper, another with a guy throwing a stick that gets stuck in the ground and ends up impaled, and others..), it's true never vulgar, with not-so-well-known actors but who have a solid background (the two protagonists are great). You can tell it was made with a very limited budget because many of the special effects used are quite poor, but perhaps this limitation is also the strength of this film. Keep an eye on the director (and screenwriter).
Sofia Coppola Lost In Translation

I agree with Darkeve.. enjoyable but nothing groundbreaking, with a measured Bill Murray..
Brian De Palma Gli Intoccabili
Voto:
The first part is decent but slightly weak and has a few too many clichés; however, the second part is magnificent with at least three iconic scenes: the ambush on Malone, the historic scene at the station, and the final part in the courtroom. Beautiful direction and cast (De Niro and Connery stand out, with a special mention for the ambiguous face of Billy Drago), great music by Morricone, and a lovely stage reconstruction.
