The White Stripes Get Behind Me Satan
Voto:
One thing is certain, whether you like them or not, the White Stripes have shown that they can change the game. Of course, those who expected an "Elephant 2" will be disappointed, as Jack's electric ambitions on this album have been set aside (already overused in previous albums), in favor of the acoustic and the element of surprise... anyway, the result isn't bad, but for someone like me who isn't particularly fond of the sound of the piano (the main instrument of the album), let's just say that they won't be enchanted...
Foo Fighters In Your Honor
Voto:
I must preface that the vote goes to the acoustic album, the only one I listened to in full, and I must say it flows beautifully. It's clear that the FF don't bring anything new under the sun, but it is indeed a good album with pleasant ballads and a few gems like "Friend of a friend" (with clear references to Nirvana, especially "Something in the Way"), "Razor" (with Josh Homme on guitar), and "Another Round."
