Anyway, in my opinion, the main flaws of these two albums are the little space given to the bass and especially Tankien, who is not as prominent as in the early albums.

Well done Vincenzo, I agree with you, although to be honest the masterpieces are elsewhere...

There are those who praise the new works of the Soad, calling them masterpieces, and others who denigrate them far too much. I think the truth lies in the middle, and even though there are various gems in Mezmerize/Hypnotize, these are not on the level of the earlier ones; they could have easily been released together instead of making everyone spend all that money.
