The Strokes Room On Fire
Voto:
I agree with ED__D that Reptilia is their best song. Then 12:51 is absolutely cute. As for the GD: in the hyper-commercial scene they’re good (come on, the last album wasn't that bad, actually) just as the Strokes are in the "slightly less commercial - indie rock" scene. Yes, indeed, the whole American music thing was a bit of a joke (see YYY, QOTSA, NIN, White Stripes, LCD Soundsystem, Scissor Sisters...). The album in question is really good, beautifully rated by Pitchfork as well.

Ah, and then I noticed that you watch FLUX and that you're definitely not to be dismissed just for that reason.

Not a bad review if it wasn't for these Pipettes being truly awful... but I can't get "dance with me..." out of my head. A song trying to be a revival with an irritating banality, bleh, maybe suitable for my grandma. And the critics are raving about 3 idiots... Franz Ferdinand forever (quoting mikornr).
Kasabian Empire
Voto:
It's a "Napoleonic" album just like the video for Empire. The first 3 tracks are absolutely amazing! Anyway, I believe that the voice in British Legion is that of the guitarist Pizzorno... in my opinion, the song would be perfect if it were sung by Meighan instead of Pizzorno.
The Killers Sam's Town
Voto:
But do me a favor! The Killers dressed up as bums (Flowers was "bono" in the video for Somebody Told Me, no doubt about it) make me want to vomit just like the single: an anonymous, banal song. I preferred the little tunes from O.C. in Hot Fuss, very 80's, very emo, but very trendy... Buy the Kasabian!
Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness

I would have bet that the vote was either 1 or 2.
Rage Against The Machine Rage Against The Machine

Ah, worth mentioning the cover: one of the most beautiful in the history of rock!

Sorry! I made a mistake with the vote!

Tom Morello is the only beautiful thing about Audioslave... there must be a reason?
