I understand that it's difficult to find quality stuff since all the bands in that scene tend to copy each other, but there are also groups that I think have something to say, like Memphis May Fire, Dance Gavin Dance, From Autumn To Ashes, etc.

Hehe, Taurus can't miss my comment! Silverstein have gotten stale; they’ve released four albums that sound like the same songs, and they're always stuck in limbo between power and whining. In my opinion, they lack a real identity. There are a few nice tracks on this one, but they get old quickly; I only save "True Romance," which I think is very beautiful.

I also have just this album by Venetian Snares, and I must say that "Sajtban" was on loop for a long time in my little car...of course, after a while, I get a headache and have to switch to something a bit less extreme. Muy buena review. :)

Franci! Music labels should be taken with a grain of salt and only serve to give a vague idea of a record's content: I'm sure that despite your complaints, you too have more or less understood what a "punk/rock" record with "emo" nuances sounds like. We can debate for now about what is alternative, what is indie, what is drum'n'bass, and no one will ever get to the bottom of it because an absolute truth doesn't exist, so just relax...

That said, I've only listened to a few tracks from the album, not bad "Voices" and "It's So Simple," but the singer's voice gets a bit grating after a while. Reception okay.
