Yes, I suspect that if CapaRezza were CapaPelata and dressed in black leather jackets, and his hit single was called "Più Rum, Meno Rom," you would find him much more likable and maybe you'd even listen to a few albums before judging him as crap.

Unfortunately, I never followed this anime, just watched a few episodes here and there... sooner or later I definitely have to catch up. Very nice review!
P.S. The theme songs of Ken, both the Japanese and the Italian ones, are nothing short of legendary!! ;)

Joss Whedon is a genius. This series truly deserves a chance even though it will definitely be dismissed at first glance, especially now that with Twilight & co. vampires are automatically associated with steaming piles of crap. It's fun and, above all, incredibly well-structured...the first 6 seasons are absolutely unmissable for me, unfortunately, I didn't like the last one.
