They are special, much more oriented towards rock than emocore or hardcore, even though they have a screamer; however, they have never fully captured me, although I occasionally enjoy giving this album a listen. The review needed to be checked again; there are spelling mistakes, a truly horrific syntax episode "(...) to which the employer tried to deprive him of his pension," and some parts where it seems you are using the stream of consciousness technique... other than that, it’s well written!

Hi Frank@. I've always followed Hopes Die Last with a lot of affection as they are "Romans" (not really) like me and one of the bands that introduced me to "emocore"... I believe I'll always carry "Thanks For Coming" and "Last Night's Goodbye" with me, but the rest of their production seems negligible. I had listened to their latest album distractedly; I tried again today after your review, but I stand by my opinion: there's a lot, much better out there in the genre. The premises were very good; maybe they should renew themselves or try to find a sound that characterizes them more because right now they are really generic...
