Kings Of Leon Holy Roller Novocaine

I like the Kol; their music is fun, not anything too serious, but they stick to a certain not-so-loved southern r'n'r that deserves to be rediscovered.

great pop album...excellent comparison with the Beach Boys and also with Kings of Leon. Some songs really deserve praise, like the first track and love's a game. Everything is played very well, congratulations to the band.

The best album by PFM... The review doesn't mention "è festa," which is stunning, even though it speaks quite well of "impressioni di settembre," which can stand up to any other song in international prog. Even "la carrozza di hans" has that arrangement that makes it a masterpiece, and the album has no low points. Perhaps the voice is a bit weak, but it doesn't affect the overall work.

Crap of an album, and I'm saying this as a fan of Queen. At times it feels like an insult to the glorious past of the band. Sometimes I think it’s me who brings bad luck: my two favorite bands, Genesis and Queen, release their early albums and each one is more beautiful than the last. Then they change direction (at least Genesis lost Gabriel, so there was a reason, but with Queen it’s inexplicable), pop and dance melodies, and it all goes to hell. Thank goodness that with their latest works Queen has bounced back (Genesis has collapsed into misery instead)...

Alright Gaetano, I will play your game. Trust me, adding more words to this pearl of dementia is unnecessary, so trust me and you won’t regret it, this review is crap! Happy now? A review on the verge of absurdity meant solely to increase the number of active reviews. Should I start writing 400 reviews a day just saying "Trust me, this is great" or "Beware of buying this record"... Scandalous! Look, my response is longer than your review...

Usually, reviews that start with "it's impossible to describe this album" are terrible, but this one wasn’t bad at all. The album is stunning, everything falls into place, and that operatic feeling makes it all exhilarating... definitely one of my favorite albums. Don't overlook "The Prophet's Song," which is experimental and just the right amount of evocative, and then there’s "Bohemian Rhapsody," about which nothing more needs to be said (even though the lyrics have been debated a few times). "Lazy On A Sunday Afternoon" also has that theatrical style that I love... this album alone helps to elevate Queen to the Olympus of rock...

Let’s remember that it's still a debut album, and I really love it... Liar, the Night comes down, and doing allright are stunning... Still a bit raw but truly good for one of the most unfairly criticized bands in rock.

Great album by Queen, one of the best. The Fairy Feller is one of the most beautiful tracks by the band, definitely mini prog, and the rest is quite convincing.
