It's absurd to think that even a disarming, raw, wild, and unfinished record (that's where the genius lies) like madcap laughs isn't understood by certain empty heads...

His 2 soloists aren’t much, are they? Mr. Contrarian, go ahead and crash against the current on the biggest wave of Venice Beach, California.
Astor Piazzolla Tango: Zero Hour

a grandiose album, one of the best by the master, alongside la camorra and rough dancer, those who speak ill of this album clearly don't understand great music at all, negro. The tango finally flirts with jazz and other aromas, the result is stratospheric.
Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory

At the level of feelings and memories, I believe that any singer can become loved or followed; that's not the point, I think. The problem with Oasis isn't the memories or the fondness the listener might have for one of their songs—understandably so, I too was humming "Wonderwall" or "Hey Now" around 1996. The problem is different; the issue is that when you take away the clever wall of sound from this album, what remains? Nothing at all. Just listen to how they produced this album; it’s mind-boggling. The walls of sound cover up the absolute lack of ideas. This isn't even rock; this is teenage pop with the volumes cranked up to the extreme. Gallagher doesn’t impress me with his lazy English tricks. Not to mention the plagiarism—let’s not even go there.

here's the real scum; on the brit pop side, there were much bigger groups than these charlatans: Pulp, for example, Cast, even Mansun with Attack of the Grey Lantern. The Gallaghers were among the most raw phenomena with a complete lack of creative flair that makes one ponder the success achieved by these eggplant gatherers.

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds Murder Ballads

a record of shocking beauty, lyrics of stunning brilliance, nothing can be commercial when it comes from the mind of Nick Cave. I consider it the last true great gut-punching album from Cave before his turn towards softer territories. Favorite tracks: O'Malley's Bar and Stagger Lee.

more crap that gets added to the fuzz and roll crap, I repeat, records that end up in the attic after 2 listens.
