I believe Amber is the last album before the minimal glitch shift of Tri Repetae, and in my opinion, it is a masterpiece on par with the much-celebrated Incunabula, the greatest electronic band of the 90s.

Alright guys. Alright, the criticisms, the mockery, sure, these guns look like cartoons now, but let's take a moment to look back. You can't imagine how much this record has made me score, how many chicks I've managed to hook up with thanks to this album cranked up to the max. So just for these memories, I give the record a 4, which we all know, as you said, is some street metal stuff that even my maladjusted teenage neighbors could shit out. Yeah, but without the hits; they would just shit out the basic chords and the pentatonic riffs of Slash, but not the hits, because to write hits like "Paradise City," "Michelle," and "Night Train," you need a bit of cunning and some coolness.
