Skunk Anansie Stoosh

Stoosh, a great album even if it’s inferior to the subsequent one, which is more elaborate and introspective (but more commercial). So a 6+, thus I’ll give it a 3... 7.5 to the reviewer instead.
Public Enemy It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back

Nice album, maybe a 4 rather than a 5 but really beautiful. I prefer the two subsequent works, although they slightly surpass this little gem of rap.
Satyricon Megiddo
Voto:
A difficult comparison between Satyr and Lemmy, I don't believe that Satyr is on the same level (especially in terms of timbre) as the legendary Lemmy. Satyricon has an excellent drummer, and this has surely benefited all their productions; Frost, with his hammering rhythms, has injected an indescribable energy into each song, despite perhaps some minor technical shortcomings here and there in the melodic instrumental section (guitars, of course). This EP (or mini album as you call it) was interesting, but definitely inferior to the "Nemesis Divina" you mentioned. I still feel compelled to give it a 3, especially for the revamped arrangement of Night Of The Divine Power, which is definitely more impactful.

Nice album... Start The Machine isn't bad either...

Exactly Galakordi... a thousand specials for a collapsing piece of crap, but it will come...
Iron Maiden Dance Of Death
Voto:
Iron Maiden are history... and they are REPETITION... how many damn similar songs have they made in their career... but that doesn't take away from them being the best, due to the skill because the members (including those changed over time), no one excluded, are excellent musicians both in terms of execution quality and compositional quality, especially Harris, Smith, Dickinson, and McBrain. I would say that the history they wrote already concluded a long time ago when the dreadful "No Prayer For The Dying" was released, following the commercially decent but forgettable "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son," and before the catastrophic triad "Fear Of The Dark," "Virtual XI," "The X Factor." I appreciate the subsequent resurgence but it is obvious that age also weighs on their compositional efficiency, but it couldn’t be otherwise given the nearly 50 years of almost all the members and a long history behind them. Kudos anyway to the kings of NWOBHM.

THE ABSOLUTE SHIT
Negramaro Mentre tutto scorre
Voto:
The Negramaro are a talented band... the Negramaro are decent musicians... the Negramaro are commercial... therefore, the Negramaro produce catchy tunes that stick in your head without offering much more... like the new Subsonica or Linea 77 (who you can't say couldn't do better)... the album isn't worthy of Zero Assoluto (as the Zero Assoluto are in themselves) but deserves a 4.5, because aside from the eponymous Mentre Tutto Scorre (a song that at least deserves a passing grade) and a few others, it doesn't merit much more, especially considering the quality of the songs, compositionally reduced to a minimum when (heard live and having diagnosed their skill as musicians and composers - especially when they were just an underground group at local festivals) they offered so much more. A nursery rhyme already heard then...
